COACHING POINTS FOR PUSH PASS IN HOCKEY
1. The left hand grips the hockey stick from the top firmly
2. The right hand is brought lower below the middle of the stick.
3. The index finger of the right hand forms a V with the hockey stick downwards.
4. Player then stands in an astride position facing the hockey ball from the side.
5. The body is the tillted downwards.
6. The flat side of the stick is then placed on the side of the ball on the ground.
7. Shoulder and left leg should be pointing to the direction of where the ball is to be hit.
8. The ball is been pushed without sound with a “FOLLOW THROUGH”
